According to the association, with Sungwoo HiS joining as a regular member on the 7th, the number of regular members surpassed 1,400, just 10 months after exceeding 1,300 in December of last year. Since President Cho Hyun-jung took office in 2013, the association has been making member expansion its top priority, expanding and reorganizing member organizations, increasing member exchange activities, and running new member recruitment campaigns.

Currently, the association has as members large IT service companies such as Samsung SDS, specialized software (SW) companies such as Hancom Inc., MIDAS IT, and Bit Computer, internet service companies such as Naver and Kakao, and companies in various fields including gaming, security, big data, and artificial intelligence.

SW Industry Association President Cho Hyun-jung stated, "Our goal is to create a virtuous cycle ecosystem where the voices of all SW professionals are gathered at the association and reflected in policy so that the SW industry can continue to develop."
